About the role

Join Proximity’s in‑house creative studio to produce photography that engages local and international audiences, connects the organization with customers, and strengthens the brand across donor‑ and farmer‑facing platforms. You will combine visual storytelling with a mission to improve the lives of rural families, working both at the Head Office and in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, marketing, donor relations and business development to deliver authentic farmer stories.
• Build and maintain an image bank, ensuring high‑quality, up‑to‑date visuals for products, services, campaigns and events.
• Plan and execute shoots from brief to final delivery, including logistics, shot lists and schedules.
• Travel roughly one week per month to capture documentary images in the field.
• Retouch and colour‑correct images for a consistent brand look across all platforms.
• Share basic photography techniques with colleagues and manage equipment and software, recommending upgrades to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience in documentary, product or portrait photography with strong Lightroom and Photoshop skills.
• Knowledge of photoshoot planning and logistics, able to pitch and deliver projects independently.
• Fluent communicator in Myanmar language with excellent interpersonal skills for field engagement.
• Reliable, proactive, detail‑oriented and willing to travel regularly, sometimes at short notice.
• Passion for storytelling – an eye for a shot and an ear for a story.
