Operator Assistant II – Frac Acid

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level Operator Assistant II to support frac acid operations. Working under strict supervision, you will assist senior operators and learn core frac‑specific tasks while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior operators with proppant, chemicals, blenders, and QA/QC activities.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑job equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Operate support equipment such as proppant handling systems, fluid tanks, suction and discharge manifolds.
• Help assemble, install, clean, repair, and prepare equipment for subsequent jobs.
• Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and continuous‑improvement procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑6 months experience as an Operator Assistant I or related field.
• Strong reading comprehension and writing abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
