Network & System Administrator

About the role

The Network & System Administrator will maintain, upgrade, and secure the school's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance for staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN networks, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, manage VLAN, DNS, DHCP and email services, and perform regular backups and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Implement network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and access controls.
• Provide technical support to end‑users, configure desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices, and deliver user training and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT staff and department heads to plan infrastructure upgrades and recommend new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network & System Administrator, preferably in an educational environment.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and effective communication skills.
