Network Engineer – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring high performance and security across switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and deploying network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless APs.
• Configure and manage network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and VPNs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues and apply software updates and patches.
• Collaborate with the IT team on network upgrade, expansion and migration projects.
• Administer and configure virtual server environments and ensure server reliability.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, patches and upgrades for servers and storage systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, VMware Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified System Administrator.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols).

Required skills

• Cisco networking (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Network security tools (firewalls, IDS, VPN).
• Virtualization platforms (VMware).
• Linux system administration (Red Hat).
• Protocols and technologies: MPLS, SAN, STP, NAT, VPC, VLAN.
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Server administration and storage management.
