Monitoring & Evaluation Engineer

About the role

The Monitoring & Evaluation Engineer will ensure that network resources and equipment across branches and MTSOs are accurately tracked, maintained, and reported. You will work closely with field teams to standardize data, supervise maintenance plans, and support staff with technical guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Synthesize and standardize weekly data from M&E staff regarding resource and equipment operation status.
• Inspect and validate implementation plans created by branches and MTSOs.
• Supervise deployment units to ensure adherence to plans, monitor progress, and guarantee quality.
• Prepare weekly summary reports for the Regional M&E Operation Supervisor.
• Oversee the planning and execution of periodic maintenance at MTSOs and BTS sites.
• Evaluate maintenance activities against established regulations and procedures.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to M&E staff during implementation.
• Draft documents, procedures, and regulations as assigned by management.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings to promote procedural compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation operations within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems, equipment, and network resource monitoring.
• Proven ability to inspect, supervise, and ensure quality of implementation plans.
• Excellent reporting skills with experience summarizing weekly results.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with branches and MTSOs.
