Mid-Level Database Administrator – FinTech

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level Database Administrator to join our fast‑growing FinTech team. In this role you will ensure the performance, availability, security and reliability of both SQL and NoSQL database platforms that power our critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Optimize query performance, indexing and overall database efficiency.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, high‑availability and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Administer database security, user roles and permissions.
• Plan and execute database migrations, version upgrades and patching.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application releases.
• Troubleshoot database issues and apply industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on database administration experience.
• Strong understanding of performance tuning, replication and HA/DR concepts.
