Merchant Acquisition & Partnerships Manager

About the role

Global Technology Group is seeking a Merchant Acquisition & Partnerships Manager to lead the growth of its merchant network and develop strategic partnerships across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to expand the merchant network across key business sectors.
• Identify, acquire, and build long‑term relationships with strategic merchants and business partners.
• Explore partnership opportunities in F&B, retail, lifestyle, healthcare and other relevant industries.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
• Drive merchant engagement, transaction growth and long‑term partner relationships.
• Design and manage initiatives that enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging partnership opportunities.
• Lead and manage the partnership team to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of partnership and merchant initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, strategic partnerships or enterprise sales.
• Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, digital financial services, retail or consumer platforms is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of acquiring key business accounts and developing partnerships.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, communication and relationship management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to convert opportunities into measurable growth.
