Market Intelligence Analyst

About the role

The Market Intelligence Analyst will collect, organize, and analyze market, competitor, category, channel, and product information across Myanmar and international markets. This role supports business decisions and opportunity assessments through insightful trend identification.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Market Intelligence Master Database and keep it up‑to‑date.
• Monitor market, category, channel, competitor and product developments in Myanmar, regional and global markets.
• Prepare and coordinate the Market Watch Newsletter by summarising relevant market and industry updates.
• Conduct regular market visits, structured observations and gather information from suppliers, trade fairs and industry sources.
• Support international market research, competitor benchmarking and the preparation of trend updates, charts and reports.
• Provide market evidence for sector research and business opportunity assessments, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in market intelligence, market research, business analysis, marketing, sales or category management.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, F&B or distribution is preferred.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented and proactive attitude with willingness to travel for market visits.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
