Maintenance Manager – Manufacturing (Yangon, Myanmar)

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead all maintenance activities within a manufacturing facility, ensuring that production machinery, utilities and equipment operate safely, efficiently and reliably. The role involves developing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes, managing a maintenance team and coordinating with production, engineering and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and monitor all maintenance activities for production machinery, equipment, utilities and factory facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance programmes.
• Prepare and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify potential failures and conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, inspection, repair and modification of machinery and factory equipment.
• Supervise electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation system maintenance.
• Manage factory utility systems such as generators, compressors, boilers, HVAC, fire protection and wastewater treatment.
• Respond promptly to critical breakdowns, analyse downtime metrics (MTBF, MTTR) and implement improvement plans.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory, control usage and coordinate procurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, LOTO procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong background in maintaining production machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, and factory utilities.
