Legal Manager – Technology Department

About the role

The Legal Manager will provide dedicated legal advisory and operational support to the Technology Department, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer. This position ensures that all technology‑related projects, agreements and regulatory obligations comply with applicable laws and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory support for technology initiatives, ensuring compliance with sector‑specific legal requirements.
• Draft, review and negotiate vendor contracts, software licences, SLAs, lease agreements and service‑provider partnerships.
• Monitor regulatory updates, interpret relevant laws and advise on obligations across technology, tax, employment, real estate and distribution.
• Serve as the primary legal liaison with government authorities, maintaining proactive engagement and compliance.
• Maintain and update contract templates, supporting operational teams in transparent stakeholder management.
• Coach and train internal teams on legal matters, risk management and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Legal degree with solid experience in corporate and technology law.
• Proven ability to advise senior technology leadership on legal implications of operational decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with regulators and internal business units.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of technology‑related agreements.
