Legal Executive

About the role

The Legal Executive will join the Legal & Secretariat team at uab bank in Yangon, supporting the bank's legal and corporate secretarial functions. This entry‑level position offers fresh law graduates the chance to develop practical legal skills in a banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and preparing contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on banking, corporate and related regulations.
• Support corporate secretarial matters, including statutory records, regulatory filings and meeting documentation.
• Identify legal requirements and help ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments on legal matters and follow up on assigned tasks.
• Maintain organized legal records and ensure timely completion of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of contract law, corporate law and relevant legal principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Myanmar and English.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a responsible attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage tasks and meet deadlines.
• High integrity, commitment to confidentiality and a proactive learning attitude.
