Junior Network Engineer

About the role

CyNetX is expanding its network team in Yangon and is looking for a motivated Junior Network Engineer. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work alongside senior engineers, gain hands‑on experience with modern networking equipment, and contribute to the rollout and maintenance of enterprise‑grade networks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with network installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
• Perform basic configurations of switches, routers, access points, and firewalls, focusing on Ruijie and Fortinet devices.
• Support network monitoring, requirement analysis, and initial troubleshooting.
• Participate in site surveys and assist with fiber‑optic/FTTH network processes.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to network projects.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
• 1–2 years of practical experience in networking or a strong academic background.
• Basic networking certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are a plus.
• Strong desire to learn and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
