Junior Maker Operator

About the role

JTI is looking for a Junior Maker Operator to join its production team in Mingaladon, Yangon. You will work under supervision to keep a semi‑automatic Maker machine running smoothly, ensuring product quality and meeting key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor troubleshooting on the assigned Maker machine to resolve operational issues.
• Clean the machine according to the checklist and conduct deep‑cleaning after production runs.
• Follow brand‑change procedures and use materials accurately as per product specifications.
• Operate the machine at target efficiency, delivering finished goods with low reject rates and zero stock‑outs.
• Carry out regular quality checks as defined by the Quality Department.
• Record machine downtimes, micro‑stoppages, and waste in the GSCA system with minimal variance.
• Execute shutdown and start‑up procedures for long shutdowns following the provided checklist.
• Participate in EEHS projects, IWS activities, deep‑cleaning, maintenance, and 5S3R initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating semi‑automatic production machinery.
• Basic ability to read and write mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in Burmese and basic English.

Required skills

• Operation of semi‑automatic Maker machines.
• Make Pack machine operation with KPI monitoring.
• Basic mechanical drawing reading and writing.
