About the role
16’96 Concepts is seeking a Junior Drafter to create shop drawings for contemporary furniture designs. You will work closely with the Lead Visualizer and the product design team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed scale drawings for existing and upcoming products and collections.
- Assist the Lead Visualizer with basic modeling for spaces and interiors.
- Communicate with the operations team to clarify shop drawing details.
- Support product research, carpentry processes, and stay updated on design trends.
- Attend site meetings with clients as needed.
Required profile
- University degree in any field (Engineering or Design preferred).
- Strong understanding of design thinking and product research.
- Meticulous, detail‑oriented with good time‑management skills.
Required skills
- SketchUp (preferred) and SketchUp Layout.
- AutoCAD.
