Junior Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage financial records and support the finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Verify petty cash receipts and payment vouchers for accuracy and completeness.
- Record detailed petty cash payments in Excel with proper classification.
- Maintain an organised filing system (both physical and soft copy) and upload weekly documents.
- Prepare expense profiles for school events and related operational activities.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities and provide documentation for audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as LCCI III, AAT Level 2 or 3 are highly preferred.
- Prior experience as a Junior Accountant.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
