IT Network Engineer – PMS Focus

About the role

The IT Network (PMS) professional will join Aureum Palace Hotels and Resorts in Yangon to ensure reliable network connectivity for the Property Management System and all hotel applications. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on maintaining optimal network performance and security across the hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and guarantee uptime for the PMS and related hotel systems.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimise routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
• Implement security best practices, including firewalls, access control and data protection measures.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical incidents promptly.
• Document network configurations, changes and standard operating procedures.
• Support system upgrades, backups and disaster‑recovery processes.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work on‑site in Yangon and adapt to flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when needed.
• Experience in hospitality or with property management systems is a plus.
