Investment Analyst – Banking/Mortgage Background

About the role

Join a leading diversified group as an Investment Analyst, working directly with senior investment decision‑makers. You will evaluate new investments and business opportunities across multiple sectors, expanding your banking expertise into strategic investments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including cash‑flow forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and financial risk assessment for potential investments.
• Perform due diligence, feasibility studies, and investment appraisal to support acquisition and expansion initiatives.
• Analyse financial statements, financing structures, and underlying business assumptions.
• Prepare investment papers, business cases, and presentations for senior management review.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking or mortgage lending.
• Hands‑on experience with credit and financial analysis, cash‑flow assessment, and evaluating mortgage or lending transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
