Inventory Accountant (Experienced)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Inventory Accountant to ensure that system stock and physical stock are consistently aligned. The role involves managing stock movements, reconciliations, and supporting inventory control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record stock receipts, issues, warehouse‑to‑shop transfers, returns, exchanges, damages and adjustments accurately.
• Verify daily sales and inventory deductions for consistency.
• Perform regular reconciliations between physical stock and system stock, investigating root causes of discrepancies.
• Organise and execute cycle counts and full stock counts.
• Check completeness of warehouse and shop transfer documentation.
• Prepare stock discrepancy and inventory reports.
• Collaborate with senior accountant, operation supervisor, and warehouse/sales teams to improve SOPs and control processes.

Required profile

• Minimum higher education; LCCI or accounting certification preferred.
• Experience in inventory accounting, stock control, store or warehouse accounting.
• Background in retail, fashion, FMCG, distribution or e‑commerce is a plus.
• Strong understanding of stock reconciliation and inventory control.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Odoo ERP, SQL or similar inventory systems.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from 600,000 MMK to 1,200,000 MMK, adjusted by experience and ability.
