Information Management & Reporting Consultant

About the role

The Consultant will lead Operational Information Management and Performance Reporting activities for the WFP Country Office in Myanmar. Working independently, the role ensures timely, accurate reporting and analytical support to senior management, enhancing decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical staff in preparing reports, ensuring adherence to standard OIM & PR procedures and templates.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on WFP operations in Myanmar, synthesising data from internal and external sources.
• Collate, analyse and communicate essential operational information to support country and corporate level decisions.
• Coordinate the Annual Country Report, collaborating with programme, M&E, logistics and resource management teams.
• Support senior leadership with briefing notes, key messages and advocacy materials.
• Provide one‑on‑one guidance and training to build staff capacity in OIM & PR.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Information Management, Journalism, Business Management, Social Sciences).
• Minimum three years of postgraduate professional experience in international humanitarian development.
• Specialised knowledge of information management best practices and reporting techniques.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including substantive analysis and report writing.
• Ability to supervise and support junior team members.
• Familiarity with UN/WFP processes and systems.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
