ICT Officer (Helpdesk and Operations)

About the role

The ICT Officer will provide first‑line support for the organization’s technology environment and manage the full asset lifecycle using ManageEngine tools. You will work closely with end‑users and the IT team to ensure reliable operation of healthcare systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line ICT helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Manage asset lifecycle, including system monitoring, asset tracking and reporting via ManageEngine.
• Administer user accounts, access rights and system permissions.
• Support deployment, upgrade, integration and maintenance of ICT healthcare applications.
• Ensure compliance with ICT policies, data‑protection standards and audit requirements.
• Record and analyse incidents, assist in maintenance planning and upgrade scheduling.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in IT support and network administration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Prior experience with hospital or healthcare systems is an advantage.
