Human Resources Executive (Generalist)

About the role

The Human Resources Executive (Generalist) will support the HR department in daily operations, ensuring smooth recruitment, employee administration, payroll assistance and compliance with company policies and Myanmar labour regulations. The role contributes to a professional and productive workplace by handling employee records, attendance, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Post job ads, screen applications, arrange interviews and prepare employment contracts and offer letters.
• Conduct new‑employee orientation, maintain the employee database and update personal files (hardcopy and digital).
• Monitor daily attendance, track leave applications, prepare monthly attendance summaries for payroll and report absenteeism.
• Assist payroll processing by providing attendance, overtime and leave data; support statutory contributions and benefits documentation.
• Prepare HR letters (confirmation, promotion, warning), manage probation periods and contract expiries.
• Ensure compliance with Myanmar labour laws, company policies and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Respond to HR inquiries, support staff meetings, training events and disciplinary processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in pharma or FMCG.
• Good knowledge of Myanmar labour law and HR practices.
• Strong communication, organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
