HSE Staff – Safety Support Role

About the role

The HSE Staff will support the HSE Manager in maintaining a safe working environment across all operational sites in Mayangone, Yangon. This role involves assisting with inspections, monitoring safety practices, and handling documentation to ensure compliance with local OSH regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Manager in routine site inspections to identify hazards, including rope access/high‑rise operations and chemical handling.
• Monitor implementation of safety protocols and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all sites.
• Record and investigate accidents, near‑misses, and work‑related injuries promptly and accurately.
• Maintain and update safety documentation such as inspection checklists, risk assessments, and training records.
• Support daily toolbox talks and provide HSE induction/orientation training for new staff and subcontractors.
• Deploy safety measures like labels, warning signs, floor markings, and colour‑coding to alert employees to hazards.
• Ensure adherence to company safety policies, SOPs, and local OSH laws.
• Act as the point of contact for safety‑related inquiries on site and report non‑compliance to the HSE Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in HSE or operational support roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) for report writing and data entry.
• Experience with rope access/high‑rise operations and related safety procedures.
