HR Business Partner Manager – Myanmar

About the role

Prudential is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partner to provide strategic and hands‑on HR partnership for senior leaders and employees in Myanmar. The role balances business advisory with operational HR delivery and represents Myanmar in regional HRBP discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑lead core HR processes such as performance management, rewards, talent discussions and culture initiatives for Myanmar.
• Manage employee relations cases end‑to‑end, including grievance handling, conflict resolution and policy application in line with Myanmar labour laws.
• Provide HR advisory on workforce planning, talent development and succession management to senior leadership.
• Represent Myanmar in CLM HRBP forums, align with regional solutions and lead local execution of agreed initiatives.
• Support design and implementation of change‑management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.
• Drive employee engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms and retention programs.
• Partner with business leaders on headcount planning and workforce allocation.
• Leverage HR data and analytics to deliver insights for talent and organisational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role.
• Proven experience working with senior (Chief‑level) stakeholders and managing country‑level HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of Myanmar labour laws; financial services experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong business acumen, influencing skills and ability to lead change in a complex environment.
