Head of Systems and Operations – Myanmar

About the role

The Head of Systems & Operations (HoSO) is a core member of the Country Management Team for People in Need’s Myanmar programme. Reporting to the Country Director, the HoSO ensures effective, efficient and accountable management of all support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically lead Procurement & Logistics, Finance, Human Resources and Administration.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and donor requirements.
• Oversee finance management, logistics and procurement processes.
• Manage human resources, capacity development and staff training.
• Maintain systems that enable programme implementation and accountability.

Required profile

• Hands‑on approach with background in finance, operations or both.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, systematic and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, respect cultural diversity and handle complex compliance agendas.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience in finance and operations management.
• Knowledge of procurement, logistics and HR processes.
• Project management experience is welcome.

• Salary 3,250‑3,500 EUR super‑gross plus monthly subsistence allowance of 1,395 EUR.
