Head of Product – Digital Content Platform

About the role

Bagan Innovation Technology (BiT) is seeking an experienced and commercially‑minded Head of Product to lead its established consumer digital‑content platform. This role goes beyond product development, requiring ownership of the product, its users, the content ecosystem, revenue growth and the long‑term business direction.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall product strategy, roadmap and business performance.
• Identify opportunities to grow active users, engagement, retention and revenue.
• Develop and optimise monetisation models such as digital content sales, subscriptions, promotions and new revenue streams.
• Use product analytics, customer feedback and market insights to make data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate closely with content, marketing, business development, design and engineering teams.
• Continuously improve the customer journey, including content discovery, recommendation, purchase, consumption and retention.
• Develop campaigns, partnerships and product initiatives that increase engagement and sales.
• Explore new opportunities involving AI, personalisation, community, social features and digital content.
• Define and monitor product KPIs and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional execution to ensure the roadmap delivers measurable business outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong experience in product management, digital business, e‑commerce, media, content platforms or consumer mobile apps.
• Combines product thinking with strong commercial and business acumen.
• Understands consumer behaviour and can translate insights into product improvements.
• Comfortable working with KPIs, funnels, retention, conversion and revenue metrics.
• Effective across technology, content, marketing and business teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving and execution skills.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and how AI can improve consumer digital products.
• Ability to take ownership and make decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience with subscription businesses, e‑commerce, digital media, entertainment, fintech, super‑apps or high‑traffic consumer applications is a strong advantage.
