GED Teacher – Full‑time On‑site Position

About the role

The GED Teacher will join KMD College in Yangon on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves planning and delivering the GED curriculum across core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts. You will support learners in preparing for the GED examinations and developing effective study habits.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured lessons aligned with the GED standards.
• Prepare instructional materials and adapt them to varied learning levels.
• Assess learner progress through tests, assignments and provide timely feedback.
• Facilitate engaging classroom activities and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Guide learners in exam readiness and study‑skill development.

Required profile

• Strong teaching and education background with experience delivering structured lessons to diverse learners.
• Effective lesson‑planning abilities and the capacity to adapt curricula for different proficiency levels.
• Clear, professional communication skills for interaction with students, staff and administrators.
• Training skills to support learners in exam preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching license or certification is an advantage.
• Prior experience teaching GED or secondary‑level subjects preferred.
• Ability to manage classrooms, use basic educational technology and support learners from varied backgrounds.
• Organizational reliability and a learner‑centered approach.
