Freelance Market Research Analyst (Myanmar)

About the role

We are looking for detail‑oriented, commercially savvy analysts to support regional and international research projects on a freelance, project‑based basis. The role is remote and offers the possibility of long‑term collaboration for high‑performing contributors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research on industries, companies, consumer trends and related topics.
• Execute store visits and retail audits to collect brand and product information.
• Carry out cold calls and trade interviews with companies and associations to gather qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Perform data analysis, calculations and market‑sizing estimations.
• Interpret research findings and develop clear, structured business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare client‑ready deliverables such as written analyses, presentations, databases and reports.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English for written and verbal business communication.
• Exceptional numeracy skills with the ability to interpret and cross‑reference data from diverse sources.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in market research or consulting, with exposure to trade interviews, store visits, report writing and desk research.
