Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will be based on‑site in Mandalay and will lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities. This full‑time position is responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end closing, financial reporting, cash‑flow management and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes and provide analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions including month‑end and year‑end closing, preparation of financial statements and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, cost‑control measures and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and develop finance staff, improve internal controls and optimise payables, receivables and payroll processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and partners, and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting and month‑end/year‑end closing procedures.
• Experience in cash‑flow management, cost control and internal controls.
• Ability to lead, supervise and develop finance teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
