Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial accounting, reporting and planning activities for Yoma Land, a leading real‑estate developer in Myanmar. The role will ensure accurate financial close, provide insightful analysis and support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day financial accounting and transactional activities (Record‑to‑Report) in line with statutory and internal requirements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing, reconciliation and consolidation to deliver timely financial statements.
• Maintain chart of accounts, aged AP/AR reports, bank reconciliations and inter‑company balances.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and ad‑hoc analyses to summarise and forecast business performance.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external auditors to ensure compliance.
• Support the Finance Director in budgeting, capital planning and forecasting for each entity and new projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements, internal controls and workflow automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, coach and evaluate the finance team, delegating tasks and providing technical guidance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting and month‑end close processes.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience managing relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to improve internal controls and automate finance processes.
• Leadership experience supervising a finance team.
