Factory Lead – SKD Projects (Myanmar)

About the role

The CE SKD Factory Lead will drive the establishment and operational excellence of Samsung's Myanmar branch factory. You will lead both the implementation of new production lines and the day‑to‑day manufacturing activities, ensuring the plant meets quality, safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead factory setup projects, including layout planning, equipment installation, process validation and production ramp‑up.
• Coordinate production flow, capacity planning and infrastructure preparation to achieve factory readiness.
• Oversee factory operations such as production, warehousing, inventory, material flow and logistics, establishing KPIs and monitoring performance.
• Develop annual and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts, manage material planning and resolve supply constraints.
• Maintain quality management systems, lead audits and certifications, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with global teams, factory partners and stakeholders, monitoring milestones and preparing management reports.
• Identify operational risks and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in factory operations, production planning, supply chain or project management.
• Experience in factory setup, production operations or contract manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, quality systems and factory operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
