About the role

The Executive, Compliance will support the implementation of Prudential Myanmar’s Risk & Compliance framework. The role focuses on AML/CFT, customer due diligence and anti‑bribery & corruption risk management to ensure regulatory and group compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) assessments, including source of wealth analysis and ownership structure review.
• Assess, document and communicate risk ratings, identify red‑flags and recommend approval or rejection of high‑risk cases.
• Conduct sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEP) and adverse media screening, investigate matches and manage false positives.
• Support AML alert management and screening‑related issues.
• Assist with anti‑bribery & corruption (ABC) due diligence for third parties, providing risk‑based advice for onboarding decisions.
• Provide practical compliance guidance to business units such as Agency, Bancassurance and Operations.
• Support control testing, assurance activities, gap assessments and track remediation actions.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports (TTR, STR) and respond to regulator inquiries in a timely manner.
• Produce weekly and monthly AML/CFT and compliance reports for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Experience conducting customer due diligence, AML screening and anti‑bribery investigations.
• Strong analytical ability to assess risk and document findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and sanctions screening.
• Understanding of anti‑bribery and corruption risk management.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements (TTR, STR).
