About the role
We are seeking an English Teacher to work with young children at our learning centre. The role involves delivering I Can Read Literacy courses and supporting student progress through engaging lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Work with young children
- Teach I Can Read Literacy courses covering English writing, communication and grammar
- Monitor student progress and take appropriate actions
- Conduct ad‑hoc replacement lessons and one‑to‑one sessions
- Hold ad‑hoc parent‑teacher meetings and briefings
- Attend additional training when required
- Assist with various ad‑hoc duties
Required profile
- Master’s degree or degree‑level qualification, preferably in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Teaching, Education, Early Childhood Studies or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate with a high level of integrity and professionalism
