Early Years Teacher (2‑6 yrs) – Immediate Start in Yangon

About the role

We are seeking passionate Early Years Teachers to join an international school in Yangon, Myanmar. The role involves inspiring children aged 2–6 through English Language and Literature and Discovery of the World (Science) using play‑based, inquiry‑led approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in English and science for 2‑6 year olds.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence.
• Support the development of language, literacy and scientific understanding through hands‑on exploration.
• Collaborate with an international teaching team and participate in continuous professional development.
• Maintain effective classroom management and communication with parents and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, English or a related field with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching children aged 2–6 years, preferably in an early years setting.
• Experience delivering English Language and Literature and/or Discovery of the World (Science).
• Willingness to relocate immediately to Yangon.
• International school experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of play‑based and inquiry‑led learning.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and student wellbeing.
