Development Field Officer

About the role

The Development Field Officer will work directly with vulnerable communities to mobilise, facilitate and support them in designing and implementing their own development plans, ensuring sustainable improvements in health, education and child protection.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilise and facilitate community groups to own the development process and create their own development plans.
• Monitor, analyse and report on community progress, behaviour change and development outcomes.
• Provide technical support to core teams and conduct review workshops for partner health checklists and action plans.
• Facilitate the establishment of community‑based monitoring systems, including child sponsorship monitoring.
• Ensure financial and non‑financial resources are used efficiently and documented according to World Vision standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in community mobilisation, facilitation and formation of community‑based organisations.
• University bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Willingness to adhere to World Vision core values and work with vulnerable populations.
