Customer Service Staff – Freight Operations

About the role

This entry‑level position supports the customer service team in managing freight operations, handling documentation, client communication, and shipment coordination to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day freight activities for import and export (air, sea, land).
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as AWB, BL, and invoices.
• Input and update shipment data in logistics systems and track shipments.
• Respond to basic customer inquiries via email or phone.
• Coordinate with carriers and customs brokers for routine updates and resolve minor service issues.
• Support billing, payment follow‑ups, and maintain organized filing and reporting systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in freight forwarding.
• Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documentation, and customs procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and pay attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English and Burmese.
