Corporate Legal Intern

About the role

The Corporate Legal Intern will join Legal House Myanmar Law Firm’s corporate and litigation team in Yangon. This on‑site, contract‑based position offers hands‑on experience supporting lawyers in corporate advisory, compliance and tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on corporate, regulatory and tax issues.
• Review contracts, corporate documents and assist in due‑diligence for transactions and investments.
• Prepare materials for client meetings, regulatory submissions and litigation case files.
• Maintain organized files, update internal knowledge databases and support case preparation.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance and tax teams while adhering to professional ethics and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a law program, preferably with coursework in corporate, commercial or tax law.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret laws, regulations and corporate documents.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision.
• Professional integrity, discretion and commitment to client confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with basic legal research tools.
