Corporate Audit Manager

About the role

The Corporate Audit Manager will lead the internal audit function for Peace Myanmar Electric Holding Co., Ltd., overseeing audit planning, execution and reporting. The role is based in Botahtaung Township, Yangon and follows a Monday‑Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the annual audit plan and define audit scope, priorities, and resources.
• Oversee and conduct audit fieldwork, ensuring compliance with standards and accuracy of documentation.
• Perform and lead risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and recommend improvements.
• Monitor and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to support understanding and action on recommendations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff, including performance evaluations.
• Promote accountability, integrity, continuous improvement, and strong inter‑departmental relations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field.
• Professional certification preferred: CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant auditing experience, including supervisory or managerial duties.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and report‑writing skills.
