Community Volunteer for Youth Programs

About the role

The Community Volunteer supports Youth Talk Forum’s educational programs for youth and young adults, both online and on‑site in Yangon. You will help organise workshops, forums and training sessions, ensuring smooth logistics and a welcoming environment for participants.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and facilitating workshops, forums and training sessions, including material preparation and venue setup.
• Support outreach to schools and community groups, maintain participant records and help with basic administrative tasks.
• Engage directly with participants, encourage open dialogue and contribute ideas to improve youth engagement.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a respectful approach to diverse youth.
• Interest in education, youth development and community engagement, committed to inclusive practices.
• Organisational and time‑management abilities to support events and day‑to‑day operations.
• Fluency in English or Burmese, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Availability to work both online and on‑site in Yangon, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Required skills

• Basic digital literacy, including use of office software, online communication tools and social media for outreach.
