About the role
The Community Facilitator (Child Protection) provides case management services to children at risk in the Rakhine area, supporting frontline workers and community members to identify and address protection concerns.
Key responsibilities
- Provide case management services for children at risk, following registration, assessment, action planning, service provision, referrals and follow‑up.
- Train, coach and support community members and CFS animators on child protection identification, monitoring, referral pathways and GBV work.
- Collect and verify information from communities, coordinate mobilisation, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports on trends and case data.
- Support supervisor in meetings, trainings, work planning and budget estimation, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and counter‑fraud policies.
Required profile
- University degree or equivalent experience; secondary education acceptable.
- Ability to communicate in English, Burmese and, where applicable, Rakhine.
- At least 1 year experience in child rights programming, community mobilisation, or NGO work.
- Commitment to child safeguarding, non‑discrimination and Save the Children values.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Data entry and case form management.
