Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Our client, a leading FMCG company in Myanmar, is seeking a commercially‑minded Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, shaping financial strategy in line with the company’s expansion plans and turning insight into growth‑driving decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with market expansion and new‑product initiatives.
• Engage closely with the board, investors, commercial and regional stakeholders to provide financial insight.
• Take full ownership of the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk management and group‑level financial reporting.
• Lead stakeholder management, influencing senior leadership and regional teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, including senior roles such as CFO or Finance Director, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving business growth, expansion or new market entry.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable influencing boards, investors and senior regional leadership.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Myanmar language and local market experience is highly advantageous.
