Chief Accountant (Reannouncement)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead its accounting function, report to the Finance & Account Manager, and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with Myanmar standards. This role will oversee daily accounting operations, cash flow management, and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review payments and approve journal vouchers.
• Prepare and review monthly account schedules, bank reconciliations, AR/AP aging.
• Produce monthly financial and management reports adhering to Myanmar financial reporting standards.
• Prepare weekly cash‑flow statements.
• Ensure timely submission of corporate tax (CT, withholding tax), financial statements, and tax filings.
• Coordinate inter‑company reconciliations and monthly confirmations.
• Maintain fixed‑asset register and control of assets.
• Support forecasting and budgeting in line with corporate guidelines.
• Maintain filing systems and improve internal control procedures, including drafting SOPs.
• Assist with new process and system implementations as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Diploma in financial accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA (Part‑2) or ACCA (Part‑2) qualification.
• Experience in team management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
