Branch Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Thanlyin, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the branch. This position manages sales activities, customer service standards, inventory levels, and store presentation to ensure an efficient and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall branch operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day business activities.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate branch employees and section heads to achieve business objectives.
• Drive sales performance and execute marketing initiatives to achieve branch targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Oversee inventory control, delivery operations, financial reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor branch budget, sales performance, and financial integrity.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to support business operations.
• Manage seasonal promotions, special events, and other ad‑hoc assignments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing operations.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
