Billing Accountant

About the role

Javelin Services is seeking a detail‑oriented Billing Accountant to join its finance team in Yangon. You will be responsible for managing client invoicing, payment tracking, and related financial records, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue monthly client invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Send billing reminders, file paperwork, and discuss account details with clients.
• Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain records of payments and account statuses.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure billing records are complete and up‑to‑date.
• Chase payments, review client credit history, and propose improved repayment terms.
• Collect and allocate receipts, and generate billing, collection, and reporting activities within set deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, management, and clients.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Highly detail‑oriented and accurate in financial calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with clients and internal teams.
• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Effective multitasking and prioritisation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite.
