Bancassurance Consultant – Multiple Cities in Myanmar

About the role

The Bancassurance Consultant will provide life‑insurance solutions to bank customers across several branches in Myanmar. The role combines sales, customer service and product knowledge to help clients choose policies that meet their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel bank customers on life‑insurance options and guide them through the purchase process.
• Follow up with interested prospects, schedule appointments and close sales.
• Explain the features of various life‑insurance products in clear, customer‑focused language.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the bank’s insurance portfolio and related business functions.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers through face‑to‑face, phone and electronic communications.
• Collaborate with branch staff to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Prepare and submit daily sales reports and account statements accurately.
• Participate in team tasks and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Prior experience in bancassurance or sales within banking, FMCG, hospitality, IT or related sectors is preferred.
• Self‑directed, highly motivated and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Extensive knowledge of life‑insurance policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends when business needs require.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
