Auditor

About the role

The Auditor will join the Internal Audit team to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, verify the accuracy of financial records, and assess operational efficiency. This position reports directly to the Internal Audit Manager and the Head of Department, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Submit timely audit reports to the Internal Audit Manager and Head of Department for all audits conducted during the year.
• Complete audit working papers and submit them for review.
• Prepare audit result reports and recommendations using strong written communication skills.
• Conduct audits to assess internal controls, financial record accuracy, and operational efficiency in line with professional audit standards.
• Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence to government statutes, including taxation, employment law, and other local regulations.
• Build strong working relationships with other departments across the company.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Internal Audit Manager and Head of Department.

Required profile

• University degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business or a related field; a graduate degree in Accounting or Management is preferred.
• At least one year of experience or relevant education in auditing, accounting, or operations.
• Strong awareness of auditing and accounting practices and a willingness to learn new audit techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet constant deadlines.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Myanmar.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the country.
