Auditor – Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

The Auditor will support internal audit assignments across the organization, performing testing, documenting evidence, and helping identify risks and control weaknesses. This role works closely with senior auditors to ensure compliance with policies and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Verify compliance with accounting policies and internal financial procedures.
• Identify unusual transactions and investigate exceptions.
• Perform walkthroughs of end‑to‑end business processes.
• Evaluate production planning, efficiency, and operational controls.
• Review raw material consumption, yield, waste, and scrap management.
• Verify inventory movement and warehouse controls.
• Assess procurement and purchasing processes, including supply chain, logistics, and distribution activities.
• Review procurement, vendor management, and contract administration processes.
• Examine engineering and maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance records.
• Prepare comprehensive audit working papers documenting objectives, scope, methodology, testing procedures, evidence, observations, and conclusions.
• Draft audit observations and assist in preparing audit reports for management review.
• Maintain and update the audit findings follow‑up tracker.
• Monitor implementation status of corrective actions and follow up with process owners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, compliance or accounting.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, LAC or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or multinational environments is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit techniques and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, procurement, inventory management, finance and supply‑chain operations.
