Assistant Manager, Corporate & Distribution Strategy

About the role

Prudential is seeking an Assistant Manager to support its Strategy & Transformation function in Myanmar, focusing on distribution compensation, contests, campaigns and transformation initiatives. The role will deliver high‑quality analysis, financial modelling, performance tracking and coordination under the guidance of the Manager, Strategy & Transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update and maintain financial models for distribution compensation, sales contests and campaign proposals, including scenario modelling and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Track campaign and compensation budgets, monitor actual performance against plan, identify variances and provide clear explanations.
• Coordinate inputs from Distribution, Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Compliance and Operations to ensure proposals are complete and aligned with approval requirements.
• Prepare regular MIS, dashboards and performance packs to support management review of distribution productivity and campaign effectiveness.
• Support transformation initiatives by gathering stakeholder inputs, analysing processes, identifying improvement opportunities and tracking project plans, risks and milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in insurance, banking, finance, actuarial, strategy, business planning, financial analysis, consulting or Big 4 audit/advisory.
• Strong analytical ability with excellent financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Proven capability to analyse data, extract insights and translate them into clear business recommendations.
• Effective stakeholder coordination, communication and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Burmese, both written and spoken.
