Assistant Manager, Business System Solutions (Oracle ERP)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Business System Solutions will support wholesale IT operations, lead system implementations and drive digital automation across web, mobile and back‑end platforms. This role reports to the Head of Department and IT Service Manager, ensuring seamless technology services for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan resources and provide IT support coverage for wholesale operations, including weekends.
• Manage local IT operations, mentor interns, and troubleshoot issues across web, mobile, front‑end, back‑end and middleware systems.
• Collaborate with business teams, regional application teams and third‑party vendors on projects and system migrations.
• Design and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Automate and custom workflows.
• Oversee SIT/UAT, test case creation and production deployments, preparing monthly operational reports.
• Support wholesale technology such as POS, HHT devices and barcode/weight‑scale integration, managing data like PLU, BOM, pricing and promotions.
• Participate in critical deployments outside business hours and travel locally or overseas as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with IT systems, databases, ERP and POS solutions.
