Assistant Business Development Manager (Partnership)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Business Development Manager (Partnership) to support the growth of our partnership portfolio. The role will work closely with senior business development leaders to identify new opportunities, prepare proposals and maintain strong relationships with existing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and pursuing new partnership and business development opportunities.
• Conduct industry and market research to support strategic decision‑making.
• Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, partnership pitches and related documentation.
• Help draft Memorandums of Understanding, contracts and reports in coordination with legal and compliance teams.
• Maintain regular communication with existing partners and internal stakeholders, coordinating meetings and follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, finance and legal to execute partnership initiatives and track project deliverables.
• Monitor partnership performance, compile KPI and ROI reports, and provide data‑driven insights for strategy improvement.

Required profile

• Preferably a Business‑related Master’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance sector, particularly within a sales channel.
• Deep understanding of sales performance management and quantitative/qualitative evaluation criteria.
• Experience managing sales staff and overseeing sales management processes.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with a focus on team development.
