Assistant Brand Manager

About the role

The Assistant Brand Manager supports the development and execution of brand strategies, marketing plans and product initiatives to drive growth and market share. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver effective campaigns and product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing brand strategies and marketing plans.
• Support product portfolio management, including launches, packaging updates and lifecycle management.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover consumer trends and business opportunities.
• Monitor brand performance, sales trends and campaign effectiveness, preparing actionable reports.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, R&D and Finance.
• Work closely with advertising agencies, media partners and suppliers to develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
• Assist in planning and managing marketing budgets to ensure cost‑effective resource utilization.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in brand or product management within FMCG, food, beverage or consumer goods.
• Strong understanding of brand management principles, consumer behavior and market research methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends and consumer insights.
• Proven project‑management and organisational abilities, able to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.
